Today's retail therapy took the form of alcoholic ginger beer and ORANGE LIPSTICK, which I sampled idly in Myer and fell instantly in love with. It is incredible; it looks like I took a highlighter to my face, and it makes my eyes look amazingly blue.

It's Chi Chi's Viva La Diva matte lipstick in LAH DE DAH. This range has some gorgeous fuck-off bright colours, I want at least two of their pinks.

I'm still not quite stressed enough about the upcoming written exams. I've done a few hours' worth of study today, and it looks like this will be an evening of drinking said ginger beer and reading A Week in December and watching endless episodes of QI. I love weekends.

I love it! Although I am thinking of getting my hair dyed an auburn sort of colour and who knows how many of my lipsticks will still suit me after that.

OH MAN. My eyebrows and I have had a long and hostile relationship; they were wild and asymmetrical until I was fifteen, when I plucked them almost into oblivion, and then sloooooowly let them grow back into something decent. They still annoy me in how much upkeep they require, but at least I don't need to bother with brow powder or pencils. I could, I suppose, to even the colour out. But I can't be bothered.

I'm thinking of holding a kind of giveaway when I get back to Sydney. Just trying to tidy up my stash and get rid of makeup I've used only a few times and now never see the light of day, either because I have dupes or they just don't suit my colouring. Taker would pay for shipping, and I'd disinfect everything with alcohol first. If you're interested, I'll send you the list of items available before I post it publicly...
