I can't believe I told Facebook first

JOB OFFER FROM CANBERRA.

So relieved. So relieved. It'll be a bit more inconvenient to come and visit Sydneysiders on weekends (but still doable!) but everything else -- the lack of urgency when it comes to buying a car, the lack of having to househunt in a new city, the lack of initial must-furnish-an-apartment expenditure, being with my FAMILY again...

Let's just say the road to exams is looking a bit easier now.

Luckily there was never any question of me NOT having a job (all Australian-citizen medical students are guaranteed an intern position in the state of their medical school) but I was only feeling lukewarm about my NSW position so I was really hoping to get this interstate offer as well :)
