I watch him, probably with an inane smile on my face. His arms are crossed and one leg stuck out slightly in a familiar, I'm-saving-my-energy pose. And suddenly I understand what he meant – the fear that a feeling like this is too good to last, too precious to be real. The expectation that any moment I'm going to wake up in a dark room with tears on my face and rage at my subconscious for creating a dream this cruel. The feeling that I don't deserve this much happiness, and I certainly don't deserve Hisoka Kurosaki…
