* My copy of The Demon's Surrender arrived yesterday. I am not sure if this was some kind of oversight on bookdepository's part, because sarahtales's blog says that the release date isn't until the 14th. (Bank error in my favour?) I am so, so excited to read it, but I have promised myself I will finish The Wise Man's Fear before I start any other novels. I am 557 pages into the 993-page monster, so it may be a while.

* I really need to step up my study intensity, this year is flying by and the sneaky internal chants of you do not know enough, you do not know enough are becoming harder to ignore.

* X-MEN. The internet has gone mad! I am sure I too will go mad (Charles/Erik sounds fucked up and relevant to my interests) when I see it. Which might be tomorrow, if I get enough done today.

* This morning I had a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses tell me that I didn't look very well. (Me: I AM JUST A BIT TIRED.) Sigh. I am just...a lot tired.

I'm not sure how I'd take Jehovah's Witnesses telling me I didn't look well. Given their track record for not really being so accepting of medical care practices, that's almost like the vultures in the desert saying you look a bit parched.

Then I must write Emma/Mystique, because Mad Men has made me fond enough of January Jones that I can overlook a) her terrible acting, and b) how underused Emma Freaking Frost was in the movie.

I saw X-Men just the other night! It was good - not AMAZINGLY good (I say just to temper your expectations reasonably, as everyone I know was also exclaiming over how awesome it was) but some parts of it were really fantastic. And yes, Those Two were just... fwahahahdsfjkdfsha

I do love me some doomed bromance.
