accomplished today:
1) New haircut! Accomplished not by me but by my hairdresser, obv, but it looks lovely.
2) A SNUGGIE. Mum and I whipped up an experimental one out of purple polarfleece (easiest sewing project IN THE WORLD: no hems, no pattern pieces, the only thing you could possibly screw up would be placing the sleeves inside-out) and I LOVE IT, it is my new favourite thing and extremely soporific.
3) I have now seen the first three episodes of The Vampire Diaries! Nina Dobrev looks distractingly like Sarah Michelle Gellar, and all the girls are kind of scarily thin, but I approve of the LADIES and the FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS and also of Ian Somerhalder's endless parade of asshole smirkfaces.

And I know this sounds implausible at your point in the show, but Stefan actually turns out to be awesome. I like the way they handle his character.

I did a mini-marathon a couple of months back when I was sick, and I am SO HOOKED now.
