I HAVE INTERNET!!! JOY!!!

Yes! Despite my gloomy warnings in the last entry, I am not completely cut off from civilation and technology after all. We have connected my dad's laptop to the phone line, and so I can do online stuff. Which is a very good thing because some idiot sent a huge picture to my inbox and it was about to start rejecting emails. So I had to delete it so that more important stuff could get through.
Well I haven't been doing much for the past few days, I went out to dinner with my dad at a hideously expensive restaurant called Atlantic, in Manuka. The food was great but you got such TINY servings.
And now we are at the coast and due to my OH SO ORGANISED *heavy sarcasm* father all my pais of shoes got left at home, so I scored a new pair of sneakers and I went running in them today.
YES THAT'S RIGHT I SAID RUNNING
*faints in exhaustion and pain* Gaaa I almost died, I hate running. Most advanced form of torture ever invented and people actually do it voluntarily. Someone hit me.
I have my laptop, of course, so I have been watching Gravitation (again) and making my video clip to Tamashii no Rufuran, which is now finished! It's so cool! And I'm about to start another one to one of the Gravitation songs.
Speaking of which, I played the soundtrack today and my parents hated it! I scoffed at their lack of taste but they made me take the CD off, damn them. I think they just couldn't cope with the fact that it was in Japanese. Humph.
What other news? Not much really, just letting you all know I'm alive and connected. My phone has no reception at the beach house, only when we go into batemans bay, so SMSs aren't working either. Ah well.
Hope everyone enjoys their last few weeks of holidays!

RUNNING?!???!??!?!?

YOU FOOL! DO YOU *KNOW* WHAT YOU *DO*?

i choose to believe that lack of anime has destroyed some vital section of your brain, but this still comes as something a shock. oh, poor poor freya *looks horrified* what can be done for you?

it is my belief that gravitation is the kind of delightfully happy techno crap that can only be appreciated AFTER you've seen the delightfullly happy shuichi, so don't be too hard on your parents. force them to wathc [if you can, or wnat to] then run aroudn screaming ITSUMO MARI KAOBA! NARI GE NAKU DE AAAAAAAAAAAAATA! YASASHI...

Thanks. I shall consider myself properly chastised. But I SERIOUSLY need to take more exercise and running was about the only option short of getting up at 6am to do Austar Aerobics, and even running is preferable to THAT.
I LOVE the gravitation music, especially Glaring Dream, In The Moonlight (soooo pretty!!!) and Shining Collection (becoz it's about the only nice thing Yuki ever does for Shuichi). But I have no intention of showing it to my parents, even if they didn't have a deep dislike of all things anime. I don't think they're quite ready for me watching yaoi yet. (If they only knew! Mobius would probably make them faint...) But we shall rest happy in the knowledge that it is quality, or at least "delightfully happy techno crap" masquerading as quality!
