ETA: If 'eyai' is still a thing unknown to you, which is reasonable because I have failed to make high-pitched noises about it recently, nextian made the world's greatest Tumblr post in which she explains the entire phenomenon and what it is all aiming for, ie. some kind of Oliver/Nacio makeouts SOME DAY.

To be honest, if I were a lit scholar, I doubt I would be coming home and collapsing with a sigh and reading more literature. I read because it is not my job to read.

I never read Flowers for Algernon as a book, but we did do the play when I was in sixth grade . . .

which somehow I feel PROBABLY DID NOT DO IT JUSTICE.
