HI THERE LJ

[livejournal.com profile] pogrebin has cool friends, they managed to outgeek me BUT there was pizza (excellent) and wine (EXCELLENT) and it's really quite remarkably nice to be able to talk about one's long-standing participation in online fandom and know that the people around you won't give a shit, because half of them are designing maps for RPG and the other half are playing the BSG boardgame.

I wish I had a geek cabal in Australia. But in the meantime, I have something to do with the rest of my Thursday nights in London :)

I still really want to! I am also still tossing up whether or not I can afford it now that I have spent 30 pounds on a theatre ticket for tomorrow night. Will they still be selling them at the door, do you think? I suppose I can call on Sunday and check.

Ooh, what are you off to tomorrow? Also COMMMMME it's only £6, there will be geeks, and yes they will probably still be selling on the door; it's a small venue but I still reckon it probably won't sell out. But yes, if you want to buy on the day, you can always call and check.

I am going to see Birdsong, because I just finished the book yesterday and I am a whore for anything involving WW1. And it was a lot cheaper than any of the musicals I want to see :)
