I LOVE THIS MEME

Out of utter curiosity, if I was chained up in your attic/study/basement/library/secret lair, and I had to write you one story, what would you request? (demand?) Or alternatively, what's something you always hoped I'd write but know is never going to happen?

Being chained up in a library actually sounds like an ideal working environment if you ask me. As long as my captor was prepared to provide plenty of coffee, cider, and Thai food, I would be quite amenable to this arrangement.

...

What is this "writing" of which you speak? I'd just sit there and watch!

I AM NOT A PERFORMING SEAL MYRA

C'mon! Allowing me to see a post like this is like inviting ants to a picnic.

Origfic. Two women, students of magic, have to do something like save the world, and end up giving up almost everything except each other and then help each other put their lives back together. And, you know, the two of them live on in love and happily ever after. Something like that. Possibly with additional fairy-tale motifs.

Well, I do have an origific idea which could vaguely be described as 'two women do something like save the world'. And they are in love! They aren't students of magic, but they ARE adolescent demigoddesses.

I like this idea. May I hear more?

There...is not a lot more! One of them is a brat trying to become a career con artist, the other is an illegitimate princess who is trying to become a bounty hunter. And together, they...get in lots of trouble with the gods, sulk about their parents, fail at a diplomatic mission, and accidentally become involved with a fairy coup.

I think I adore these two. (And that sounds like a fair bit more to me.)

writing? boring :P

I think I'd just tell you to write something original that you're passionate about.

I would need some intensive Long Night worldbuilding/brainstorming sessions! And also Edelmann-coaching.

DECEMBER. Pact?

I think I would make you write something utterly horrifying like A Complete History of Doctor/Master in Gallifreyan Wordporn.

I have completely thought about this long before seeing this meme. (Well, not the chaining you in my basement part specifically I suppose.) But now I can't remember my evil plots! WHAT WOULD I CHOOSE, SO HARD TO DECIDE

It would probably be some sort of insane crossover... or taking a different fandom and doing an apocalypse fic, because "solfege" is still pretty much my favorite thing ever. OR BOTH AT THE SAME TIME.

And lately I'm on a fullmetal alchemist kick again, which I'm not even sure if you have seen/are a fan of, but there is just so much creepiness and angst and philosophy in that series that I can't help but think that combining it with the brain of fahye would be amazing.

YOU WOULD NEVER MAKE IT OUT OF THAT BASEMENT
