Well, yes, but I like my protagonists to be people I can feel at least SOME kind of emotion about that isn't vague irritation. All of the supporting characters were so great and so interesting in comparison.
I would much rather he have hit her than used sex, that made me very uncomfortable. It's all very well for SCOTT to be all 'hur hur lesbian jokes', but that the rules of the canon universe allowed STRAIGHT MALE to defeat LESBIAN GIRL (or maybe bi, I don't think they ever specified past the 'bi-furious' joke) via a sexual act was extremely distateful to me.
I liked the ending! Knives got an apology (I would have liked the film a LOT LESS if that hadn't happened) and I didn't really care if Ramona and Scott ended up together or not, so...whatever, on that score?
