If my writing ever achieves half the complexity, erudition, hilarity, beauty and sheer balls-out geekiness of Neal Stephenson's, I will die a happy and fulfilled woman.
omg omg omg omg
I am not even halfway through yet. Given that there are >800 pages and I am sort of maybe meant to be doing many assignments and socialising this weekend, my conclusion is that there are not enough hours in the day -- in ANY day -- for the awesomeness of this book.
And I still have The System of the World waiting for me back in Sydney, too. Also >800pp. JOY.
