I tell you what, flist, some combination of bronchitis and fatigue and sleeping in an unfamiliar place has meant I'm dreaming about the weirdest shit at the moment. I don't usually remember my dreams at all, but these days I keep waking up dizzy with confusing places and convictions and the knowledge that I've been drifting through the same dream on and off for hours.

Last night's was set in some kind of complex city made up of half-alleys and half-canals, with a lot of LJ people around and a lot of tasks to be done. It was very stressful (yeah, LUCKY ME) and I'm pretty sure schiarire and I got married at some point, though knowing my dreams it was probably for some elaborate plot reason.

(The only other person I've married in a dream was Orlando Bloom. In an ice castle. I remember thinking in the dream that the whole experience was kind of wasted on me, and maybe had been meant for some other teenage girl.)

Hah - the night after we watched High School Musical, Emmy and I both had terrifying romantic dreams about Zac Efron. Mine involved fake marriage for an elaborate plot reason; Emmy's involved actual dating. We woke up the next morning in Shati's guest room and expressed mutual terror about our night visitations.

(Shati had insomnia that night so she did not receive a Zefron dream, but she got one a few weeks later. It involved sacrificing him to make the crops go. I feel this is fairly emblematic of . . . something.)

I have a feeling my subconscious is sulking about Ji being slightly incommunicado and busy with her adventures in foreign lands. It felt like something out of Duplicity -- is it real? Is it a game? I think I am meant to be on a ship stealing something right now! Stresssss.

Hahahah wow, I have never had a Zefron dream. I shudder to think what mine would involve.
