I was going to spend this Friday night watching the rest of QI series G, but I think instead I'm going to put on my musicals playlist and try to power through the latter half of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, because thanks to dinner with the_grynne and a quick visit to one of the secondhand shops on King St, my to-read list now contains:

- The Queen of Attolia
- The King of Attolia
- collected short stories of E.M. Forster
- The Fencing Master by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, whose books I collect compulsively because they are my shiny, clever, Spanish crack

...there goes the weekend I was going to spend filling my head with cardiology.

What I really, really want now is the ability to lounge around in a hot bath. Or failing that, a bottle of white wine.

Yay for the Thief series! Don't forget to read A Conspiracy of Kings after The King of Attolia, if you can find it. I haven't got my hands on it yet and desperately want it.
