only bad thing about the flat = terrible PhotoBooth lighting

I think my sleep deprivation is reaching critical levels; on Monday I was a little tired, last night I almost fell asleep at the pub (difficult!) and this morning I seem to have reached some kind of twilight zone of fuzziness and apathy. I also seem to have become immune to the French press coffee I make every morning, which is DRASTIC, because paying $10 for three weeks' worth of morning coffees is within my price range but shelling out $3 every day for espresso absolutely is not.

Today I am wearing eyeliner and a GIANT BLUE SASH with my jeans and I am hoping it will be enough to get me through an 8am-5:30pm day of classes.

*WEEPS FOR LIGHTING*

Also I feel this is the closest I've come in years to lesbian chic?

What is that fantastic necklace/locket thing you are working there? IT LOOKS SHINY.

It's a steampunk pocket watch on a chain -- GORGEOUS, with a filagree case and panels that let you see the clockwork inside.

I've only seen the first two episodes, so I'm just rollin' with it. BUT SO FAR:
1. NEAL HAS VERY BIG AND SHINY EYES. That is really the number one thing sticking with me right now.
2. AWESOME AWESOME HATS
3. I find it hard to believe that anyone could write all that dialogue in the first episode about like, "giving himself up to him" and "I own you" and ... WOW. THAT MUCH KINKY SUBTEXT CANNOT BE AN ACCIDENT.
4. I really really love married and/or middle-aged couples in television. They're so under-represented and they're always so cuuuuuuteee

You think the kinky subtext is bad NOW. Just you wait :D

OH and "so this is the man I competed with for seven years," that was the line I was trying to remember. Once it got to that point I was like "...OK NOW YOU'RE JUST MESSING WITH ME"

PS. slightly better shot of the steampunk watch (as part of vaguely steampunky outfit) at this post (http://fahye.livejournal.com/647128.html).

Oh, hmm, would you have a use for the sort of belt that is supposed to buckle around one's waist, possibly as an accessory over shirts/dresses/things and not in fact holding one's pants up? Because I have such a thing: it's black, with a square shaped buckle oriented diamondwise, and it's too small to go over my hips (therefore cannot hold up pants) but I'm too small to wear it around my waist or underbust as an Accessory. Also I wouldn't know how to wear an Accessory like that.
