1) Wow is this ever a self-centred thing to be complaining about, but: I WISH I could know when people link my fic in places, because things happen like the delicious bookmark leaps six numbers and some comments appear and I want to grab them and shout WHERE DID YOU COME FROM? DID SOMEONE SAY SOMETHING NICE?

2) Nny is running her annual Valentine's Message Post, where you leave comments expressing your fondness for people and they are kept screened until Feb 14th, when Nny notifies everyone for whom there is a message. Go and heap love onto your LJ friends!
3) Surgical textbooks have the best pictures! And by 'best' I mean 'most disgusting'. One only wakes up to the desensitisation process of one's education when one is staring at lurid photographs of infected skin ulcers and idly eating mud cake at the same time.
4) We are going to get SO WET at the Tattoo tonight, hoo boy.
