Hahahahah tell me about Vermeer! I wish I had copies of the Conan Doyle stories, I have only read a tiny little bit of actual Holmes canon and it would be nice to know more.
I think that not only would Peter and Watson bond, but Peter would get on unexpectedly well with Lestrade.
It would also be funny if Holmes and Neal got into a "friendly" competition over which of them was better at various criminal skills, like lockpicking and smooth-talking.
