Today is a misty, blustery sort of day; this should be depressing, maybe, and part of me does just want to curl up in bed again, but the rest of me is beaming because the air is cool and leaves are swirling through the damp air and crunching and clattering underfoot.

We're being encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to work on Friday, so I get to reuse my Spock cosplay and have a nice geeky low-maintenance costume. At work! I will do the same thing on actual Halloween, and see how many small children recognize me.

I have burritos for lunch.

(My happy things are small, and not as delightfully linktastic as the others, but they still make me smile to myself.)

I have just eaten an apple Popsicle that seems to have dyed my lips clown-nose red, and the washer and dryer in my apartment building was repaired today!

Also, my younger sister who's just finishing up nursing school got a job today! I am so ridiculously proud of her. ♥
