well

You know you're tired and stressed when the highlight of your day is lying down so that someone can apply hot wax to your skin and then rip all of your hair out by the roots.

(I know, I know, it sounds like some kind of hideous medieval torture! UGH. GIRLHOOD.)

Runner-up: lying down (though for a much shorter period of time) while being a pretend patient for our OSCE practice. I will add an UGH. OSCE. here because I am more freaked out about this than my written exam; I am kickass at written exams, I will be studying in basically every free hour between now and the end of November, they should be fine, but the prospect of the clinical exam just sends me into a tailspin. I know you have to fuck up on a pretty epic scale in order to fail. I know I take very good histories and blah blah blah but it's still scary! Especially the prospect of neuro OSCE stations, of which there are a billion and one possible candidates. I might spend tomorrow night watching the DVD of the full neurology exam, just to hammer some things into my head a bit more.

I still wish I was in a relationship, I really do, but frankly I think anyone trying to date a medical student is in for a pretty rough deal around exam times :)

PS - I HAVE BEEN WATCHING GLEE. FINALLY. OMG. WHY DO THOSE CHOIRS NOT EXIST HERE. I WOULD HAVE JOINED ONE IN 0.0006 SECONDS FLAT.

I've been watching Glee too but I'm perpetually lazy with TV - the problem is that TV feels like procrastinating but reading fic/anything with words doesn't. So I'm up to episode two or three of Glee. I think.

Heheheh, when I went out for dinner with my college friends on Friday night the waiter looked very like Finn from Glee. We were delighted :-)

I know I must be getting old because my crush on Will is bigger then my one on Finn.

You will ace the exam. You are Fahye Fahyette.

The intertubes love you.

I adore Glee too. It is just so fun. Ohh, but I hate that Terri.

GLEE! GLEE! GLEEEEEEEE!!! If it's any consolation, my HS didn't have a show choir, either.

Rock your exams, Miss Fahye!

I have just watched the episode with Josh Groban, who I thought I loved after I watched the Chess in Concert featuring him as Anatoly (have you got that? Adam Pascal and Idina Menzel are in it!), but now my love is reaching NEW HEIGHTS.

You guys do not have show choir there? Sadness! It was hands down my favorite part of high school, although we were not nearly as good as the Glee kids.

No! I mean, maybe some schools might, but it is not a Thing with competitions and stuff like it is in the States. My school's co-curricular music program was INTENSE -- three year choirs, three chapel choirs, one motet choir, chamber/string/symphony orchestras, three concert bands, two jazz/swing bands, and ensembles for saxophone/guitar/flute/percussion -- but nothing even remotely like show choir.

The decision each week about watching Glee is a complicated battle between wanting to see the musical numbers and not wanting to watch the fake pregnancy or the teachers drugging students or the zillions of other impossibly ludicrous things that they are trying to fill out the hour with.
