this one time

Things that happened at choir camp:

1) We managed to sing almost the entire concert from memory, late at night, crowded around a bonfire.

2) I sang 'A Quiet Night At Home' from BARE, while dressed as Elphaba from Wicked.

3) I caught a terrible, terrible cold and am about to go back to bed and try not to panic about the fact that getting sick on a Monday puts me six hours of lectures behind everyone else. Plus I have a lecture from last week to catch up on. Plus I didn't do this week's learning topics and textbook reading because of camp. Plus --

fuck it. I don't need to be stressed out of my mind as well as dying of the plague. I'll think about it later.

Back to bed.

Your choir camp sounds awesome!

My BIL, the doctor, also thought he was dying of the plague every time he came home sick from med school. Now, he comes home sick and thinks it's swine flu instead. ;-> Guess that can happen when one is specializing in infectious diseases.

FEEL BETTER and take care of yourself. {{{F}}} Goodness knows, if you really do have the plague, you surely wouldn't want to spread it around. ;->

Oh dear, feel better!!

So, this is completely off topic, but might perhaps make you feel better? I just saw a pretty amazing movie called "Were the World Mine" which is a kind of retelling/musical/queer take on A Midsummer Night's Dream. Basically, private boys high school are performing the play, some magical plot ensues, and suddenly half the town is in "gay" but better yet: speaking in verse.

Check it out if you can, I was pretty thoroughly charmed (and wondered: has fahye seen this?)
