STYLISH

The MedSoc Bookshop was selling these off dirt cheaply; they're left over from a previous year, and they're ten times more attractive than the grey hoodies my class ordered, so I snapped one up. So soft! So warm! So inappropriate now that Sydney's weather is convinced it's late spring instead of still winter! But it'll be perfect for next year and even better for Orange, where it SNOWS.

Notice how I have med school pride only when I approve of the colour scheme.

Hee! Color scheme disapproval is why I will not be buying any apparel from the university I'm doing my grad program at-- although I do have to remind myself that while navy blue and bright orange is pretty bad, at least it's not yellow and green like the University of Oregon (http://www.goducks.com/).

I don't even know what the official colours of my uni are! Er. I don't even know if we have them, though I assume we do. Our logo is gold and red with a LION, so perhaps we are Gryffindors?

Each cohort of med students orders hoodies or jackets or shirts in whatever design they wish, and my cohort, LIKE FOOLS, plumped on a dull ugly grey.

I like both my school colors and I like that they arise out of some confused reaction to the American Civil War, but together they look very drab. But whatever! I do not wear that stuff anyway.

Heh... whenever my ultimate frisbee team needed uniforms, we had to battle with administration to get them NOT in the school colors, because the school colors involved this hideous maroon that everyone hated.

That is VERY Star Trekish!

And coulour scheme disapproval is totally a legitimate reason not to university apparel.
