"Well, what kinds of colours does your mother usually wear?" Lancelot asked, adopting a thoughtful tone. Merlin saw at least five women between the ages of fourteen and forty leap to the same conclusion and cast jealous, reproachful glances in his direction, as though it were Merlin's fault that his not-actually boyfriend was -- well, his boyfriend. Except not actually.

"He's French," Merlin said loudly, to the nearest and most blatantly disappointed woman. "French."

WHAT'S THAT?

ARE MY CHARACTERS TALKING TO ME AGAIN?

Yes, yes they are.

This is on my to-watch list once I finish The Middleman. Seriously. It's so there.

HI MERC

It's a fun show, but the real reason to watch it is the fandom, which is completely awesome.

Okay, it's also kinda enormously gay. And HILARIOUS.

Mmmmshows. I feel like getting into media again. I forgot what tremendous escapism it provided.

I am working off already-seen things at this point, as far as fandom is concerned. I am dead broke and have very little downloading ability, so recently I've managed to watch both Damages (<33) and Farscape (<333333) because friends gave me the episodes. And my movie-watching this year has been confined to Star Trek and HBP.

Mmmescapism. I have heard good things about The Middleman, are you enjoying it?

Oh God, Fahye, it's so good. The dialogue and the characters are quirky and clever, and I really have come to adore its budget of $50 and two gorilla suits. They make the most of what they've got.

It's just-- it's happy saving-the-world crazytimes.

Hee! Merlin spends half of its teensy budget on CGI-ing the Dragon, and the other half on Morgana's costumes.

FABULOUS.
