state of things
I need to go shopping for snacks. I am so hungry I am about to chew my arm off and the only food in my room is a couple of bananas, which are at least a day shy of an edible state of ripeness.
I remain unenthused by gastro, but today was a good hospital day. Not because of anything in particular that happened (although the Volunteer Services cake stall had Mars Bar slice. which was delicious.) -- there are just some days that crush my mental energy, and some days where I feel good about medicine in general, and today was one of the latter variety.
Mai Linh is at the repair shop and I'm hoping against hope that it's a hardware problem and thus covered by my warranty. And also, my speakers died yesterday. And also, both my printer and my digital camera have been slowly dying since the beginning of the year.
I think I might be destined to become an important figure in the anti-robot counter-revolution of the future, and I'm paying for it now through some strange preemptive technological karma.
