the way dreams have of sticking to the soul
I have a bag of salted pistachios, some peach Zappos, a pile of teabags and an iPod full of musicals to tap my feet to. AND I UNDERSTAND THE BASAL GANGLIA. I'm tempted to scan in a page of my study-notes so you can all see just how close I am to achieving the traditional illegibility of the medical professional.
Now to memorise pages of neuropharmacology. Bromocriptine amantadine levodopa/carbidopa selegiline benztropine blah blah sodding blah, and those are just the ones for Parkinson's. Someone needs to characterise the personality of the average medical student; I think it'd be a fascinating mixture of obsessive personality trait, Type A, and just a touch of masochism.
Somewhat to my own surprise, however, I am becoming progressively more certain that I'm on the right career path.
