so maybe I am hiatus-breaking over the long weekend

Whatever the excuse, I feel the overwhelming need to make a PSA post. Because my current eyai story, entitled three bags full, JUST PASSED 10,000 WORDS.

what the hell what the hell

I used to be able to write short things. This is all Groundhog Gay's fault.

I am mostly just commenting because 'Groundhog Gay' still sends me into fits of giggles (best alt title ever, y/y/mfy?) but I want to say 10,000 WORDS YOU ARE A NINJA. And also that I used to be able to write short things and then due South happened and perhaps if you like you can also blame your inability to write short things on our braintwin...ness. But no seriously that is awesome, ma'am.

For serious, man, I think there may be something in the water. I'm 6000 words into my latest Torchwood fic, and it's not even a third of the way through the INSANE plot. I remember back in the day, where anything over 1500 was a cause for shock and celebration.

What the hell indeed.

You do realize that knowing there are more than TEN THOUSAND words of new eyai goodness waiting for me is like the best possible Saturday morning present, right? So I for one welcome our new, way longer, fic overlords!

Also: Groundhog Gay. NEVER NOT FUNNY.

Ah, Groundhog Gay is beyond wonderful and the reason I started watching Merlin in the first place (the BBC really ought to give you a finder's fee).

I'm with everyone else; 10,000 words of eyai fic is a wonderful thing!

Glad you are doing well.
