all is quiet

I'm giving myself a kind-of-holiday, this weekend: I'm in Canberra with my family and I intend to do VERY LITTLE aside from reading Patrick O'Brian novels, eating hot cross buns, scribbling fic into a notebook and playing with my new EeePC. Which is tiny and white and, I expect, will be stapled to my hip and carried around everywhere for the forseeable future.

I've also realised that the EeePC is the computer which should be called Elliot (actually white, coming to medical lectures with me) and that my iMac (enormous and silver) needs another name. I'll let you know when I think of one.

Big & silver was a hard one for me too ... I don't usually like characters who are big and silver! In the end I went with Iggy from Ergo Proxy (how much do I love Iggy ... probably more than any of the human characters).
