I don't think I've ever used 'morose' before

My to-do list for tonight has nine items on it, one of which, 'type up today's lectures', will probably consume a good couple of hours all on its own.

I am thinking of drawing a great big red cross through the bloody thing and replacing it with a single-item list, namely: CURL UP IN CORNER AND WEEP.

Ah, med school. I missed you too.
