Hello, 4am, it's been a while since we hooked up!

Actually, I shouldn't be surprised, this is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the jetlag I had upon arriving in Prague; then I was exhausted at 8pm and chirpy at 4am. Nice to see that my insomnia obeys the laws of...whatever the hell this is. Physics? Circadian rhythms? Some beauteous novel admixture of the two?

Anyway, I am watching episodes of Friends and trying to kill my brainwaves.

Actually I'm back in Canberra for a week, but because I haven't been at the college for two months due to being in Europe, all my mail has been forwarded. I got the package! I think you maaaaaay have confused either me or the author with someone else, but at the same time, I never turn down French books, so thank you anyway :) It was great of you to think of me.
