time enough
Would you believe that I actually FORGOT that my birthday is in nine days? (By which I mean I forgot that my birthday exists in general, not that I momentarily stopped counting down in my normal anal fashion.) Jesus. It is going to be such an anticlimax of a day, apart from the whole finding-out-uni-results thing. The upcoming travelganza is much more exciting in every respect!
(some of the January stuff is still tentative, but this is a good general guide)
Dec 7-10 -- Singapore
Dec 11-15 -- Prague
Dec 16-17 -- Birmingham
Dec 18-20 -- Edinburgh
Dec 21-24 -- Dublin
Dec 25 -- Birmingham
Dec 26-Jan 1 -- London
Jan 2 -- Paris
Jan 3-5 -- Venice
Jan 6-8 -- Florence
Jan 9-12 -- Naples & Pompeii
Jan 13-18 -- Sicily
Jan 19 -- Patra/Athens
Jan 20 -- Delphi
Jan 21 -- Istanbul
Jan 22-23 -- Meteora
Jan 24-25 -- Athens
Jan 26-30 -- Rome
Hidden in there is like, a week's worth of travel on planes and trains and ferries, but WHATEVER. Time to plan and read and write.

ps I bought the boots! I totally love them way more than I did when I was remembering back to seeing them in the store! I am putting a picture on the Internet right now.

I do not HATE haggling but I would much rather get on without it if the prices are not totally exorbitant.
*thumbs up re: boots*

Maybe it's better that we don't go together, after all? ;D

Delurk! Delurk!
This is me delurking, which I do very, very rarely, but now seemed an appropriate occasion!
My name is Carly, I'm an American exchange student in Istanbul - my blog is here (http://carlyinturkiye.blogspot.com/) - and, on the off-chance that I can convince you that I am not, in fact, a crazy Internet stalker (I'm not!) and you feel you could stand navigatory help in the markets...my email is carput at gmail dot com.
