mission frivoloty: accomplished

In obedience to the poll, I DID go looking for frivolous shoes, but I couldn't actually find anything that didn't have a suicidal heel or look as though I was about to go slaughter some Trojans after tying cardboard to my feet with lots and lots and lots of string. Ick. I liked last winter's fashions so much better than this summer's.

Anyway, the picture is dreadful but you have to believe me when I tell you that this is a gorgeous dress. It shouts OH HEY I HAVE A WAIST and is the brightest red I have ever seen. I put it on and then stood there for a while in the cubicle doing a little dance of perfection. And I could probably get away with wearing it at hospital as well, if I added neat shoes and a cardigan.

I -- I bought The Devil Wears Prada on DVD as well. STOP JUDGING. NOBODY LIKES A JUDGE.

Okay, back to study.

I must say that when I watched it the first time it did not make me want to write, but then I HAVE written Ugly Betty fic so apparently nothing is impossible when it comes to wacky fashion industry hijinks!

LJ is a ho, I've been getting like one comment out of every three. It's because they had some trouble with ISP addresses being blocked by Hotmail so there's a huge backlog of comments being delivered at the moment.
