God, I really need a mental & physical health day. Still not feeling well, slept at an odd angle and did something to my ribcage, and all I want to do is curl up in my doona and drink tea and watch silly movies. Or write. I've skipped this morning's lectures but ughggggghh I have compulsory tutes later and I'm going to be useless.

In other news, I am...sort of enormously enthusiastic about the Merlin fandom despite not having seen any of the show. Mostly this is the fault of this vid (and Arthur's hilarious facial expressions) and a handful of fics which I will rec in another post.

The Fic of Shame (name now official) has progressed from being a very silly idea to being ACTUAL PARAGRAPHS and I still can't quite believe I'm writing it and I'll try not to talk about it incessantly for fear y'all will expect something with substance, because if there was ever anything that seemed unlikely to live up to even the measliest amount of hype, this fic is it. Trust me.

The only dress I brought to France that I still fit into (the other one is a size 0 and looked FABULOUS this summer, but if you have any tummy fat at all, it is not forgiving) has beer and bubbles on it now! I would be angry but I'm too happy from bubbles.

I still can't believe that 0 is a REAL SIZE. I am an American 6 in dresses, which is nice because it makes me sound a lot skinnier than I am.

Mmm. Bubbles. I don't even know if you mean champagne-type bubbles or the things that you blow and then burst, but either way: excellent.

The thing is, there are smaller clothes than that! There aren't in France though. It used to be my skirt/dress size ... but then I moved to Aslace ...

The kind you blow! They were publicity for something called "Wolf Night," so I love them EXTRA.

It's like you were trying for 'Aslan' (Alsace = secretly Narnia?) and missed.

I have a tube of those bubbles that are made of something crazy, the ones that don't burst but stick on you. Probably even worse for clothes.

My opinion is something along the lines of EVERYONE SHOULD SLEEP WITH EVERYONE ELSE HURRAH but if you look at the fics that I have written, that tends to be my opinion about most things.

(Bet you any money at ALL I start writing dark twisty futurefic where everyone sleeps with everyone, once I've seen the canon.)

i FULLY ENCOURAGE THIS. and canon does too! this show does not skimp on subtext, like, seriously. i would start listing, uh, almost every conceivable combination of pairing and threesome but that would take too long, i think you get the idea. the only ship that's not giving off obvious "wanna do you" vibes is... arthur/guinevere. GO FIGURE. (not that it's stopped an arthur/guinevere lj comm from appearing anyway.)
