From what I've heard, Auslan is a lot closer to BSL than it is to ASL -- we use two hands for fingerspelling and one hand for numbers. If I had a webcam I could make a 'voicepost' or something. You know, if my vocab stretched beyond 'hello! I have six dogs and I like the colour purple. may I have a sandwich?'
