wtf

It's going to be THIRTY-FIVE DEGREES in Sydney today. Even this morning it is, gloriously, too hot for coffee. I forsee a marked drop in my weekly expenditure.

Anyway, this is my last day of Haematology, and all I have is one morning tutorial and then I am freeeeeee. K and I are catching the same bus to Canberra this afternoon, so we're going to romp around the city in the meantime -- have lunch on King St., probably ransack Basement Books for awesome books costing very little money, that kind of thing.

Then: home! For just over a week.

(Dilemma of the day: what to wear on a bus going from deliciously warm Sydney to much-less-warm Canberra, when I have to leap immediately OFF said bus and go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant with my family. HMM.)

I don't see why those can't be combined with a dress! Or why they have to come home for the week instead of other shoes ... or why shoes other than the shoes on your feet need to come at all, given that presumably you still own shoes at home.

Because they are ENORMOUS CLOMPING THINGS and I have to wear socks with them and trust me, they look very silly with this dress. And I need at least one pair of non-summer shoes because it's cooler in Canberra...and these are the most versatile in terms of casual/could-wear-to-work. And no, I brought most of my shoes with me! I like my shoes! I wear all of them!

>>I brought most of my shoes with me!<<

most =/= all!

Also, you should probably never ever see clothes that I wear (other than shirts/jeans) ... ever. :)
