Things today's MOSCE* has taught me:
1) Even though it says right knee, EXAMINE BOTH KNEES, you retard.
2) It is probably a good idea to ask someone with arthritis about their arthritis.
3) I am much better at talking soothingly to patients about cannulation than I am at actually doing it.
4) There are some very nice fourth-years and some INCREDIBLE ASSHOLES OF FOURTH-YEARS.
I'm going to go back to my college room and nap. I can't quite face the prospect of typing up five lectures' worth of notes or pulling together a lit review. SLEEP. AND THEN COFFEE. AND THEN WORK.
*Mock objective structured clinical examination, pronounced MOSKI as though it were a delightful drink composed largely of vodka** instead of an apt demonstration that hell is other people. Other people who make you want to strangle yourself with your stethoscope out of sheer shame at your own incompetence.
**I don't think you have ANY IDEA how much I miss alcohol, flist.

The title of your post says it all - it's about what you learnt from it. You don't learn anything if you get it right the first time. From now on you'll be paranoid about doing the obvious things and it'll be good for you as a doctor. Sometimes it's the simple things that people become complacent about. It'll all seem easy to you after a while.
Good luck with it all Frey!
