Update: I am not just sick, I have a MAGICALLY EVOLVING SICKNESS! Over the past five days I have gone from sore throat to feeling generally zombiefied to severe sinus clogging and now I'm back at sore throat, but with a bonus cough and headache!
I guess I should be glad I haven't yet been sick enough to miss a day of uni. And I Got Stuff Done today, which is good, because my to-do list is as long as my arm. Maybe as long as Gumbi's arm, considering that it seems to have an endless ability to ELONGATE.
I am trying not to think about the fact that my little brother is turning 19 in two days, because then I'll have to think about what this means, which is that I myself am turning 22 in December. TWENTY-TWO. THAT'S PRETTY FUCKIN' PALINDROMIC.
AND ALSO OLD*.
Twenty-two, Jesus Christ. The list of things that I haven't done yet is looking pretty pathetic. Sometimes it seems like I am going to be a single, impoverished student for the rest of my life.
*Not that I am trying to insult, er, the majority of my flist by insinuating that they are grey-bearded elders, but you should realise that inside my head I only just got used to being 18.

Don't worry, I think most of my discontentedness stems from the fact that my future career training kind of stretches off endlessly into the blue. And if I'm almost-22 NOW, HOW OLD WILL I BE THEN?? (I refuse to actually count. I will get too depressed.)

I am jealous of your achievements. My annotated bibliography for which I have to read things (in Japanese) and annotate them (in Japanese) is due in a week-- less, considering it's due next Wednesday by five-- and I haven't started! ahahaha fail.

But seriously, that list? You've got a lot of time to work on it. And it's important to look at the list of things you have accomplished from time to time, too--which will keep getting longer and longer. :)
