traitorous immune system!

Forget pirates, I appear to have been turned into a ZOMBIE.

I am going to have a shower, make a pot of jasmine tea, and pray that my brain struggles out of the sickness-fog for long enough to finish the assignment due next week.

And then maybe watch some anime! I've been meaning to watch Honey & Clover and Ergo Proxy for ages, though I think I'll save the latter for a time when my sinuses aren't waging bloody war against my neurons. I also have the first season of the original Stargate from K (um, short primer on K: my best friend in the med course, her boyfriend lives in Canberra, she likes Avatar and BSG and we have the same sense of humour) so I can see if I like it at all/at least get a handle on who the characters ARE.

Actually, I also have S4 of NCIS and S1 of The Tudors, so if I want mindless entertainment I'm kind of spoiled for choice.

I just watched all of S1 of the Tudors over the past 2 weeks, as well as ep #1 of S2. I thought it was very well executed, the main actors are amazing, and I am looking forward to the rest.

All I've heard so far is: it's very pretty. Which is fine by me!

It IS very pretty, and the costuming (at least for the royals) is stunning.

Ooh, can I get H&C and EP off you at some point to watch?

Um ... do not watch The Tudors sober. Or at all, if you ever again want to be able to see JRM without remembering the time he tried to pole vault a mud puddle, fell off his pole and got stuck upside down in the mud so that just his little legs were kicking out of the top while he screamed and had to be pulled out by advisors. That is my The Tudors advice.
