litany of complaints

un) Firefox is doing that thing again where it keeps freezing for no reason whatsoever and then I can't make it work without RESTARTING THE COMPUTER. Currently it's holding steady, but I have no confidence in how long this state of affairs will last.

deux) I finished the first season of The Wire and now my life is DESOLATE because I have no more episodes of Omar whistling and McNulty being a (sexy) son of a bitch.

trois) Okay, actually my life is DESOLATE because of the lack of Bones :(

quatre) I got slapped in the face by some kind of headcold today. Woke up with a bit of a sore throat, and then over the course of the day -- BAM. Headache, neckache, fatigue, blocked nose, worsening of throat. I'd like to finish my paediatrics assignment or write some more of the drabbles I promised, but...my brain is a sullen ball of mush and responds only to honey-lemon tea and soothing music.

cinq) Damn, I miss non-college food :( I miss pizza and MUFFINS and brownies and really good Chinese takeaway and WINE and and and wow I am an unhealthy little bugger when given the chance.

Huh. Okay, then I got nothing.

I used to have FF2 freeze and crash on me a lot, and the upgrade has diminished that quite a bit so far, possibly to the point where it hasn't happened yet.

Well, it's behaving okay for the moment, so hopefully it was just a minor tantrum.

My FF3 is doing some sort of a thing right now as well - it slows down, gets "(Not Responding)" messages, then it freezes completely and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del and close it down. When I start it up again, my bookmarks toolbar has no bookmarks in it. So then I close it and start again and it's fine.

It's very weird.

I miss my mum's veggie lasagne and salad that doesn't suck and normal beef stroganoff.
