This was supposed to make me gleeful and all it did was highlight how completely detached I am from fandom right now :( Oh well.

- I WOULD BE ADDICTED TO LIGHT/L IF ANYONE COULD SHOW ME WHERE THE NON-SUCKTASTIC FIC IS
3. Fandoms/Pairings you like, but aren't necessarily obsessed with:
Katara/Aang? I think it's way too...wholesome...for me to put any energy into it, but I want them to be happy. I enjoy Sokka/Suki but remain inexplicably incapable of letting go of Sokka/Toph, which gets in the way. I like a handful of Naruto pairings but can't get too excited about them unless I start constructing fic about them in my head -- for instance, I would totally write and/or enjoy Neji/Shikamaru, or fucked-up Neji/Hinata, or...okay so perhaps I just like Neji a lot. Fandom is so keen on Kakashi/Sakura that I have become intrigued by the idea in spite of myself.
I still sort of like Torchwood but cannot be bothered to pour any energy into it whaaaaatsoever.
4. Fandoms/Pairings you're new to, but enjoying:
Peter/Caspian? Maybe? I don't know what counts as new. I haven't seen anything new for MONTHS.
5. You can chose one non-canon pairing you love to become canon (in a good way that the writers don't screw up). Who do you pick?
See, I am one of those crazy people who is convinced that Booth/Brennan is practically canon, so it seems a waste of a question to pick that pairing, but the temptation to pick it anyway so that the writers don't screw it up is...very strong.
Oh, what the hell. I would LOVE to see Kishimoto pull off Sasuke/Naruto/Sakura, if only for the shrieks of terror resounding from every corner of the world when the parents found out what their kids were watching.
6. You're only allowed to read fic from one fandom (any pairing) for the next three weeks. What fandom do you choose?
Given that I probably read one fanfic per month, if that...eh. SGA? I don't watch the show any more but I know there are a lot of awesomely entertaining epic fics out there that I haven't read yet.
7. You're allowed to refer to your favorite ship only by a shipper name. What ship is your favorite and what would you name them?
Well, that one's easy. Kara Thrace/Lee Adama -- PILOTICIANS.
8. Two of your fandoms are going to collide in a spectacular crossover. Which fandoms would you pick?
AVATAR & OURAN. Because I am quite serious about Azula/Kyouya = Sociopathic Mindgames Of Extreme Badassery And Hotness.
9. You have to choose between reading bad porn about your fandom obsession of the moment, or no fic at all. What do you pick?
NO FIC. NO FIC. GET BACK TO STUDYING, FAHYE.
10. You're asked to pick a theme song for one character/ship. What song do you pick, and for whom?
'Cold Cold Water' by Mirah, for Piloticians. THANK YOU, PLASTICS. That one will never die.
11. It's 2 in the morning and you should be doing math homework. What kind of fic do you read instead?
This is usually when I find myself clicking on Chapter One of a thirty-chapter epic AU for a pairing that I don't really care that much about but I've had bookmarked since forever because someone on my flist thinks it's funny. Look, I'm hardly ever awake at 2am, and when I am, my brain is not working at its usual levels of snobbery.

BOOTH/BRENNAN. THIS IS GETTING SERIOUSLY RIDICULOUS. JUST HAVE SEX ON HER COUCH. OR IN HIS BATH. OR SOMEWHERE EXTREMELY INAPPROPRIATE. WHILE COVERED IN DUST AND BLOOD. AT THIS POINT I COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT THE CONTEXT, BUT *SOMEONE* NEEDS TO REMOVE SOME CLOTHING AND START WITH THE SEXING UP *VERY SOON*.

I have a feeling that CS Lewis's ghost probably wants anyone who ships anything as far as Narnia is concerned to be pitched into the hellpits, so...Peter/Susan/Caspian? LOOK AT THAT, IT CONTAINS GAY *AND* INCEST *AND* A LACK OF SIMPLE TWO-PERSON-NESS. Also they're both mentally adults and Caspian is, like, nine. ALTERNATELY HE IS SLEAZILY OLDER THAN THEY ARE. WIN-WIN FOR MORAL DUBIOUSNESS.

I think the key word here is probably 'almost', because I tend to be shameless when it comes to characters. In terms of unpopular opinions...maybe Elizabeth Weir? Fandom seems to hate her with a passion, and I think that's a pity, because I really loved her. Ditto with Alison Cameron. Though I don't think that's really what the question is asking.
17. Your very first fandom/ship was...
Yami no Matsuei! Tsuzuki/Hisoka. I was sixteen. It was inevitable. I WROTE VERY LONG AND VERY MELODRAMATIC AND VERY MEDIOCRE FIC.
18. The fandom you could read any kind of fic in is...
Nonexistent? I had low tolerance for badfic even when I had the time to read it.
19. The fandom you would totally write an anonymous Mary Sue fic in is...
I...this is a surprisingly hard question! Shipping myself with characters is weird for me because I like many characters a lot but usually I like them in the context of a relationship. I would TOTALLY have written a Shikamaru-dating Mary Sue just like Random Codebreaker Girl is turning out to be except with, you know, less hysteria and more awesomeness, but all in all I'd much rather write Shikamaru/Temari. In general I think Naruto has great potential for OCs, but my Mary Sue would probably end up just being a vehicle for an awesome idea I had about chakra or strategy or the politics of bloodlines. I'd probably enjoy creating a Mary Sue for Neji to marry, but only because she would have to be such a freaking bizarre person for him to like her AT ALL, and I'd see it as a writing challenge rather than any sort of wish-fulfilment.
Clearly I am way too aromantic for this question :/ In the end, I'd probably get the most enjoyment out of writing, say, a Fire Nation Mary Sue who doesn't end up in a relationship with ANYONE, just organises Zuko's schedule and has secret meetings with Mai about making him wear the right clothes to the right things and stop scorching the tapestries whenever he gets angry in meetings. And she goes around casually preventing assassination attempts and running a spy network, and gets drunk and gossips with Sokka and Toph and Suki, and okay, maybe has the occasional bout of friendly and acrobatic sex with Ty Lee.
There might even be an exciting plot with Political Intrigue! And enormous parties! And gratuitous Mai/Zuko all over the place! And bonus lesbian sex. It would be awesome.

1) A Naruto fic for a deadline.
2) A secret fic for a remixathon.
3) My Narnia fic which is SO CLOSE TO FINISHED and has had a first-draft beta and everything. It just needs a few solid hours with Regina Spektor and a bottle of wine.
4) My Iron Man fic which is almost as close to being finished and really needs to be posted before everyone loses interest in the film entirely!
5) My Bones fic which I have been working on for months now.
6) My Good Omens prequel which I have been writing SINCE THE DAWN OF TIME.
