Six Feet Under 1x01

So...we're aware of my small obsession with TV shows about death (you know: death & aliens, death & pies, death & helldemons, death & serial killers, death & skeletons) and this show is ALL. ABOUT. DEATH. And fucked-up people <33333

Also Freddy Rodriguez is really hot. And short. And HOT.

Also I loved Michael C. Hall's character with a compulsive and consuming character-love the moment I set eyes on him, and that feeling has only increased since.

Yes, I think this will do nicely to keep me sane over the next couple of months, even if it ends up costing a fortune in DVDs. We'll call it a mental health tax.

I love six feet under and highly recommend it but I do warn you that season three sucks balls. It gets good again in season 4 though.

I want a pet David and a pet Keith. For different reasons. David's adorable and Keith... hell I'll just take his actor, dear god *fans self*. And Lauren Ambrose is in it too... THE WHOLE SHOW IS BASICALLY EYE CANDY WITH EXCELLENT WRITING.

Everything about David is fantastic. You know me, emotionally repressed characters are my thing, but it's also that MCH plays his nuances of humour and sexuality and motivation SO WELL.

And I can already tell I'm going to like Brenda a lot. Self-deprecating inherited psychology: COUNT ME IN.

It has been recced to me by everyone for yeeeeears, but it took me being in a miserable mood in the middle of HMV to cave to the fact that the first season was on sale.

Netflix doesn't exist in Australia. ALAS. Renting would probably be cheaper, but most places have a week-long limit and I'd rather not give myself TV-deadlines as well as my truckload of uni-deadlines.

Oh goody, so glad you're watching this show, it's a favorite of mine.

btw, the guy who created this show, Alan Ball, has a new vampire show coming to HBO this fall called TRUE BLOOD (http://true-blood.tv/) that looks like another sort of fun. I'm getting excited for it.
