I could try to be coherent and articulate but I'd probably fail (we spent most of last night just clutching each other and making high-pitched noises) so I'll just say this: any Aussies who have the slightest opportunity should RUN, not walk, to get tickets to the Melbourne production of Wicked. And if you get the standby actress for Elphaba, fear not, she's phenomenal.

The set! The costumes! The LIGHTING! There were a couple of missed lines and a couple of blocking aspects that I would have done differently, but mostly it was AMAZING. Absolutely amazing.
