i kick your ASS, inferior male being!

HA. Have discovered that I have a latent talent for pistol shooting, how cool is that? I got the highest score in my group - 297 - and the second highest was the only other girl, Sophie, on 250. None of the guys got over 107 *smirks* The girl in the other group goes shooting a lot so probably had a ridiculously high score - Sophie and I decided that she shall grow up to be the Assassinator, complete with Mafia sunglasses and black beret and trenchcoat, and we will be her minions the Assassinettes, and wear skimpy leather outfits (my unit leader helpfully mentioned that Koomarri has a whole leather section) and run around shooting people. All the guys inched out of our way and made loud comments about how they wouldn't want to be near US when we're holding a loaded weapon.

But seriously, it's really fun and surprisingly relaxing. And feels EXTREMELY cool. Only $10 a session with a group - may have my birthday party there or something, for a random idea. You guys would LOVE it.

Finished Cursed about half and hour after getting home. Going to be a REALLY long wait for the next one, I can tell. Just keep me up to date with plot and I'll be happy, okay? Just one thing - the ending confused me. Surely... Orphen KNEW that Ali had lost her memory when she slept with him. They had a LONG CONVERSATION earlier in the book about what she was going to do if she never got her memory back and when was she going to start making decisions for herself... did I miss something vital? *scratches head*

NO SCHOOLIES FOR ME TOMORROW! I am going to finish Orphen, FINALLY (does anyone else think that Hartia has a MAJOR crush on Orphen? my GOD...) watch as much X as feasibly possible, possibly finish Buffy season 5 (DIE GLORY DIE she is so IRRITATING) and oh yeah... study for both sets of science and clean the whole house and go to mel's in the afternoon, hopefully. Maybe sleeping in isn't such a good idea. Hmm.

Good luck to [livejournal.com profile] schmendrannie,[livejournal.com profile] sanguia and [livejournal.com profile] izumihydra for their major/minor essay. Remember STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS, MODERNISM and for goodness sakes do NOT start scrawling AND THEN SEPTIMUS WILL HAUNT BIG BEN AND HE WILL *SO* GET WITH EVANS OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS... Ms Vance's fangirly instincts will COLLIDE with the english teacher mentality drilled into her by the WALLACE-RICHARDS monster and her brain will explode and she won't be able to take Shakespeare next sememster and I will have to suffer under a teacher who gives me marks for MERIT and not because she LIKES ME and I am IN THE LOOP.

Good luck also to EVERYONE who has IT, don't worry. The IT department is a pile of steaming crap and no fault whatsoever can be attached to you for the shittity that is their methods of assessment. You'll do it. You'll come out. You will PARTY and LAUGH at how stupid the IT teachers all are.

...oh dear. Have poured all my reassurance and cheery good luck onto others and am left feeling panicky about own lack of science knowledge and can't apply my own logic to myself because it DOESN'T WORK when you have to memorise SO DAMN MUCH INFORMATION. And cannot reasonably expect sympathy because I have a DAY OFF. Bugger.

Thanks frar, the IT department IS rather craptacular. And if you've run out of cheerfulness... saturate you in some I shall! You'll do great in your science! You're already really smart NATURALLY, and then there's the fact that you probably listened more in class than at least a quarter of the otehr students. I think you've studied enough, too. Just remember, even if YOU do badly, the whole class will probably do worse and it'll scale.
Besides, to use Tegan's very cheering concept, it's only worth about 1 or 2 PERCENT in the grand scheme of things. This is only one test out of one semester out of two years out of four subjects. See? Not too bad. ^ ^
