Listening to the Bare soundtrack (and, embarrassingly, certain Disney soundtracks) the day my period starts, WHILE I AM TRYING TO STUDY = terrible idea. Terrible. My weird thing where my entire body gets goosebumped at the sound of particular chords is magnified by a very large factor, and my emotional reactions are way skewed, so I find myself completely incapacitated during the opening bars of 'Epiphany'. Way to go, Fahye.

Right now: short break to watch an episode of QI.

And then: conquering my bloody immunology notes once and for all.

And then: formal dinner! I asked to be put on High Table (which is, like. unheard of.) because the guest speaker is MY HERO and I intend to stalk him charmingly over the pre-dinner drinks and maybe ask him to be my Honours supervisor.

Formal dinner means everyone has to wear academic gowns and the food is a bit hit-and-miss and sometimes the speakers are dull. You're not missing out :D

It is actually v. Harry Potterish because we're all at long tables with black gowns. So that aspect of it is exciting. Unfortunately, the food doesn't appear by magic :( THAT WOULD BE A GREAT SELLING POINT FOR MY COLLEGE.
