One week until my first exam and (of course) I've just come down with THE COLD FROM HELL. My head hurts, my throat hurts, I'm coughing like a freak, and I would like nothing in the world so much as a day spent in bed with gallons of lemon-and-honey tea and some DVDs, but instead I am going to trudge through the rain to my six hours of classes.

DAMN YOU MED SCHOOL.
