Speaking of things that are wonderful: villainny is hosting another Valentines Message Post, and you should all head over there and leave messages of love and random hugs and drive-by adoration for anyone on LJ that you feel like expressing your (totally manly) feelings for, and on Feb 14th they'll receive an email linking them to the post.

And in the continued spirit of pimpage: rawles wrote the most fucking awesome Mai fic ever, which is unsurprising because she is the ORIGINAL MAI FANGIRL and writes her gorgeously -- Reign Within, Mai/Ozai <--- YEAH, I KNOW, WTF, BUT TRUST ME. READ IT.

I have never actually seen the movie, because inexplicably I FAIL at being a musical fangirl. But I just acquired the soundtrack and it's like having societally acceptable PORN blaring through my speakers. Mmmm.

I remember that moment when I first saw that movie and discovered that Antonio Banderas could sing, and was converted for life. Oh man.

(Waltz for Eva and Che, on youtube. It's not a very good clip, but you have to see it with the dancing, because it's hatesex in waltz form.)

I *adore* this movie and soundtrack. There's a 2cd version and a single cd, so if you want for more and only have the single disc, hunt out the double-disc version. It's all gold.
