Okay, I can stop hyperventilating now.

(Context: I forgot to send off my transcript because I'd got it into my head that I only needed to bring it to registration, instead of sending it to them by...two days ago...until I got an email telling me that failure to provide proof of graduation would lead to the loss of my place. HAHAH. Thank god for desperate, apologetic emails, and the existence of Express Post.)

But I have a FIRM OFFER now and NOTHING CAN KEEP ME OUT. I think I shall celebrate by getting my final HPV vaccine dose and my diptheria/tetanus booster. (My celebrations are the best.) If I cannot type coherently for the rest of the day, don't worry, it's just because I've been poked with needles.

I saw the first ep on the plane! It was odd, like it wanted to be a film. Like it wanted to be Amelie, in fact. I think I liked it, though - lord, he's tall.

It does kind of want to be Amelie, but it really hits its stride a few episodes in, when the character dynamics start to cohere. (My personal opinion is that it is the mutant child of Amelie and Torchwood.)

I...am not going to try and convince you that it's quality telly, 'cos it isn't, but it has wacky hijinks and lots of sex and gay kissing and violence and CAPTAIN JACK HARKNESS so, you know...why not. And it's about death! I love television shows about death. Because I am a HUGE FREAK.
