nomenclature needed!

My 21st present from my parents was purchased today: a new iPod. Black & sleek & intimidating. It's like Fabian's younger...sibling. Note that it is currently ungendered, though I kind of want to force it into femininity because currently EVERYTHING of mine is male. Except for Alanna, of Alanna-and-Thom the twin baby speakers.

NAME MY IPOD!

I'm thinking something femme fatale. Or something that will encourage it to live a long, healthy life (I realise now that calling the old one Camille was just asking for trouble).

Holidays are wonderful, but also bad for me. I had a long list of things to do today and so far the only thing I've crossed off is 'clean the bathrooms'. I think I'll go bash away at a fic for a while so this day won't have been a complete waste.

I admit there is a pleasing symmetry in ALWAYS naming my iPods Camille...? And hah, I actually had no idea what Hahn's first name was. I'd be a bit scared of my iPod if I named it after her, although it might do a good job of bullying me into listening to my lectures.
