nomenclature needed!

My 21st present from my parents was purchased today: a new iPod. Black & sleek & intimidating. It's like Fabian's younger...sibling. Note that it is currently ungendered, though I kind of want to force it into femininity because currently EVERYTHING of mine is male. Except for Alanna, of Alanna-and-Thom the twin baby speakers.

NAME MY IPOD!

I'm thinking something femme fatale. Or something that will encourage it to live a long, healthy life (I realise now that calling the old one Camille was just asking for trouble).

Holidays are wonderful, but also bad for me. I had a long list of things to do today and so far the only thing I've crossed off is 'clean the bathrooms'. I think I'll go bash away at a fic for a while so this day won't have been a complete waste.

I shouldn't have to tell you that whatever femininity Alanna is lacking is MORE THAN MADE UP FOR by the similar dearth of masculinity in Thom. So together they probably comprise one whole male and one whole female?

I miss Thom. Btw.
