(no subject)

For the record, the two books I ended up buying were The End Of Mr Y by Scarlett Thomas and I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan <-- FINALLY. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT HAS TAKEN ME TO FIND THIS BOOK? FUCKING FOREVER.

For no reason that I can fathom I am in the throes of a renewed enthusiasm for EPIC PIRATICAL LOVE STORIES, and am thus hugely impatient for the PotC:AWE DVD to be released. And pathetically rereading turn your sail in order to gain closure.

And now to bed, and then up earlyish tomorrow morning to fly to Melbourne for a weekend of shopping, eating out and attending (fanfare plz) THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA starring ANTHONY WARLOW. If you never hear from me again, I have most likely exploded from sheer joy and [livejournal.com profile] _leareth has scraped the pieces into a small jar.

SEE YOU ON SUNDAY EVENING. Don't blow anything up while I'm gone. (I have Jason Bourne on the brain; this seems a perfectly viable possibility.)

I, Lucifer by Glen Duncan

Funny. I was going to suggest that book when I read your post, but I figured I was too late to catch you.

What, this dynamite? Oh, no, I only -- I only use this dynamite to throw in rivers and make explosions there. It's safe! For people.

Maybe.

I, Lucifer is amusing but goes on a lot of tangents. Hysterically funny, though.

:O I OFFICIALLY HATE YOU FOREVER. Anthony. Warlow. aghfoaifadfhadls.

(Unofficially, I hope you will take detailed notes. *looks pathetic*)

Also, I have been debating over getting I, Lucifer for ages. You'll have to let us know what you think.
