hotdots are IRRITATING

WHY has my father not yet bought me a multiple ISB port so that I can burn things and use the mouse at the same time?? My damn hotdot has a tendency to get a mind of its own and wander merrily across the screen when I'm not even TOUCHING it and then attempt to hide the cursor offscreen and drive me into a rage.

Ok then Teegsie, next time you need an excuse as to why you can't go to dinner/volleyball/why you weren't at work, try one of these from my Little Book:

My car wouldn't stop.

My goldfish is psychotic.

I thought you were dead.

I have an unusual flu that has temporarily stripped me of the competent contol of my bodily functions.

My pants were unusually tight.

I must have blacked out. Either that or my skivvy was stuck on my head.

Ohmigod...I...I can't remember who I am!

The devil made me do it. He wore red pantyhose and everything.

I can't leave the house because there is a vicious magpie dive-bombing every passer by and I don't have an ice cream container with eyes painted on the back of it.

I'm with the Army Reserve, and this afternoon we are invading Corsica.

...and there are many many more. That'll do for now, though!

I haaaaaate linear functions, they take FOREVER to do. I should be writing some more of something and I am stuck deep in a bog of maximum values and coordinate geometry. Ick.
EUJAR DON'T FORGET TO WRITE OR I SHALL WHACK YOU OVER THE HEAD WITH A LARGE PILE OF DODGILY SCRAWLED HIDEOUS REMUS/SIRIUS FANARTS. So there.

Hurrah, my CD is burnt and my mouse is returned to me! It's a good CD of random tracks that I have downloaded on whims and shoved together onto a playlist. I shall probably get sick of some of the songs soon but for now I LIKE them.

During maths today the Motivational Media people were packing up, and they were playing Meteora - we could hear it. Was mouthing the words but then decided to pay attention. I think I may be the only person in my maths class who likes Linkin Park. So very very sad. I have a huge pile of CDs to shove onto people tomorrow - Leah for Chobits and Anna for YnM and Teegs for Missing and... what was the other one?...Vanessa Carlton. And I'd like to BORROW the matrix soundtrack at some stage, so I can make note of and download the songs I like.

Maths work calling me now...

(which is actually a tendency to use long words)

hmmm. excuses are lovely, but not actually any help. i can't tell tim i thought he was dead. he'd think i was making a joke and like me MORE. and yes, i';m terse, my mother has made me grumpy.

the second one. eugenie's spin on that was hilarious, but doesn't make much sense.

i LIKES yer icon.
though when you think about it, the matrix has no real fandom. well, slash fandom anyways, as we ALL know that they are the only parts of a fandom that count.

Too true. But then, there's always us. We can be the sole fans of Neo and the Pervert Mound. ^ ^;
