today has been bafflingly full of dead bodies

Don't you wish you could say that about YOUR day?

a) Anatomy lab in which we once again played with human brains, this time with the aim of identifying the cranial nerves, which are ELUSIVE LITTLE BASTARDS and next to impossible to locate unless one is playing with the helpful plastic model. Let's see if I can -

I olfactory - II optic - III oculomotor - IV trochlear - V trigeminal - VI abducens - VII facial - VIII vestibulocochlear - IX glossopharyngeal - X vagus - XI accessory - XII hypoglossal

HA. HAHA. PWNED. Now to learn their functions.

b) Watching S3 of NCIS (if I ever again need to identify with a fictional character, Ziva David is it. violent, tactless, logical and dreadful at comforting people.) which is always high on dissections and corpses.

c) My sister sticks her head around the door of my room and asks, "Freya, how do you spell cadaver?"

If the universe is trying to tell me something, it's either that I am destined to become a pathologist (which, well, okay, I would kind of like to spend my life cutting up dead people, but I'm a bit odd) or that there is a zombie attack in my future.

Are you using any of the mnemonic devices for this?

Wow, this takes me back. *amused*

Me too!

Man, I so wished I could remember the specifics of any of this. Stupid brain cloud.
