Exams are done.

And there is a new Chuck Palahniuk book out.

(THIS COULD BE A SIGN? No. No spending money on Palahniuk, no matter how much I adore him, until I work out how much money I'll have left over after I buy kneehigh boots and Queen of Hearts costume bits'n'bobs on Saturday.)

I am unbelievably exhausted and thinking feels like moving through sludge, but tomorrow I expect I will be marginally intelligent once more. In the meantime, you can remind me of all those things that I said I'd do 'after exams'. You should note that for the past three weeks, a) I have been kind of insane with stress, and b) my stock response to just about anything has been 'after exams!' so my memory of what I actually offered to do is very poor. If you were an explotative kind of person, this would be your chance.

Oh, also - I plan to revamp my icons, and for some reason about 70% of the icons in my folders are Torchwood or BSG. I NEED GENERAL USE AND/OR OTHER-FANDOM ICONS. SGA. Doctor Who S3. Anything you've seduced me into watching. You could be a darling flist and make me some (thus handily greasing the wheels for any lesbian zombie porn endeavours you may or may not be planning to wrangle out of me) or recommend a particular icon-artist of your acquaintance or whatever you please.

I am going to have a nap. And then go to a NACHOFF at izumihydra's. (It is RIDICULOUS how little I get to see my bff these days. Am rectifying with all haste.)

What kinds of icons are you looking for?

For example... are you interested in PotC icons? I can point you at a couple of places and perhaps even make a few, if it really comes down to being picky about things. *grin*

Since I'm crediting you with getting me into SGA in the first place, I'll share some icon makers I think are cool in that fandom: beeej and ciderpress. Hmmm. Maybe I have more saved elsewhere, but those are pretty places to start.

My fandom icons (written fandmom; uh) mostly... aren't, really, unless they were given to me by Hans in which case they're bandslash (except for four I made myself from capping a behind-the-scenes thing).

So uh. You're welcome to the bandslash icons, mostly made by parcae therefore, but as I have never heard you say anything about bandslash I feel that they will not serve you particularly well unless their use is accompanied by immersion into this new fandom, and then I could probably trick you into writing things for it and it would really be kind of awesome, because of how fantastic a writer you are.

But I won't, unless you want a way of eating up all your spare time reading really good fic and avoiding the really bad fic (if you can) and looking at pretty pretty pictures and listening to a lot of music you probably don't have yet.

(I think there are some people who don't even particularly like the music and still adore the fandom, if that helps. Or not. Whatever.)

And other than that all my icons are either gifts from other people (like Ji) or icons I made to suit song lyrics (instead of the other way around, like with icons made by Ji).
